Another week, another Gratitude Sunday…

Quotes on Gratitude

“Develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step towards achieving something bigger and better than your current situation.” – Brian Tracy

“No longer forward nor behind
I look in hope or fear;
But, grateful, take the good I find,
The best of now and here.”
– John Greenleaf Whittier

“Each day comes bearing its own gifts. Untie the ribbons.” – Ruth Ann Shabacker

Gratitude List for the week ending September 24

  1. I sent a manuscript off on submission to an agent!
  2. All the support from family and friends regarding said submission.
  3. Going for a run on the Boulder Creek Path with Rocky, then meeting Phil and the kids for a creekside picnic dinner.  Watching the kids wade in the creek while the sun went down.
  4. Zucchini pie for dinner – summer isn’t complete until we’ve had it.
  5. A lovely girls-only dinner with my mom, my aunt and my cousin.
  6. Michigan wins another football game even without the star quarterback in play.
  7. Cool mornings, warm days, cool evenings.
  8. Going with Mom and Em to the used book sale at the library.  Especially finding an old copy of Algonquin: The Story of a Great Dog.
  9. Spent the whole week “in the flow” of creativity and productivity.
  10. Hot air balloons floating in the distance out our front windows each morning.

What are you grateful for this week?

  1. Oh, that zucchini pie looks yummy!

Congrats on sending in your MS! My fingers are crossed for you. Good luck.

  2. I am so thrilled for you with the MS! Can’t wait to hear what happens. And #9… that’s impressive! *turning green with envy* 😉

I miss #3. I LOVED walking the Boulder Creek path when I lived there (though I’m not much of a runner). 🙂

  3. I’m grateful for the zucchini pie recipe link. My zucchini went crazy this year, and I’d run out of recipes . Thanks. 🙂

  4. The zucchini pie IS yummy! I just ate the leftovers for lunch.

  5. Good luck with your agent submissions!!! I can’t wait to hear how everything goes!

  6. So excited for you with the submission and the pie!
